Objective

Strengthen mental health services for minors and young people at a central level and integration at a peripheral level

Activities

  • Elaboration and implementation of a training program by a multidisciplinary team of Italian experts for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Center, CAMHC, staff and a group of health workers active in local services (including pre-post impact assessment tests)
  • Evaluation of the tools used at the CAMHC, elaboration and implementation of a plan for their revision and adaptation to the local context
  • Activation of an afternoon shift at the CAMHC by a team of local experts to enhance mental health services provided
  • Activation of 2 mobile teams for home visits in camps and in the host community
  • Data collection and development of scientific articles together with the DGoH and CAMHC to disseminate scientific knowledge of the situation in the region
  • Selection and purchase of training and informational materials
  • Development and implementation of the restructuring / reorganization of CAMHC spaces
