Objective:

This emergency project supports the Duhok Maternity Hospital in the reorganization of its spaces and functions, by building a new outpatient clinic that will deliver prevention, care, counseling, and awareness raising services.

Activities:

  • Design and creation of a new mother and child health outpatient department (OPD)
  • Supply of furniture and equipment for the new OPD
  • Design and implementation of a training program that includes both inperson and distance learning for Maternity Hospital staff
  • Creation of informational materials to conduct community-wide education
    and awareness campaigns on mother and child health issues
