Healthy DEvelopments – BMZ: ‘Now the whole focus is on COVID-19’
General Objective
Strengthening the capacities of Duhok Directorate General of Health in providing quality healthcare services
Activities
- Finalize with Duhok DGoH the executive plan to remodel part of Zanest Centre to host Duhok Training and Clinical Skills Centre
- Implement tendering procedures for remodeling, furnishing and equipping Duhok Training and Clinical Skills Centre
- Develop clinical manuals and SOPs for training of medical doctors and nurses
- Support the establishment of clinical training mentors and tutors program
- Implement training of trainers for medical doctors, nurses, health technicians and biomedical equipment experts
- Technical assistance to: trainers, mentors, clinical tutors, technicians
- International experts from Italy and from the Middle East/Iraq will be selected and training will be carried
- Organize the training program and training materials
- Implement an intensive pre-service and in service training program with pre and post training evaluation tests
- Implement post-training follow-ups at trainees’ workplace to receive feedback and ensure continued compliance to procedures and application of new skills during their daily practice
- Constant monitoring and evaluation of training performance
- Technical assistance to: train trainers, mentors and clinical tutors, technicians and biomedical engineers
- Organize with CPD Department the training program to support Azadi Emergency Department operationalization
- Draft manuals and SOPs
- Implement an intensive pre-service and in service training program with pre and post training evaluation tests
- Implement post-training follow-ups to ensure continued compliance and application of procedures during daily practice
- Constant monitoring and evaluation of training performance
