Objective

To reduce avoidable morbidity and mortality among IDPs and host community new-borns and children, by ensuring timely access to quality neonatal and paediatric critical care services.

Activities

  • Four months on the job training program (theoretical and practical) involving 12 nursing staff of Rapareen Pediatric Teaching Hospital at Duhok Hevi Paediatric Teaching Hospital – Critical Care Units
  • Eight months follow up: weekly supervision and technical assistance by Duhok Hevi Paediatric Teaching Hospital trainers coordinated by AISPO expert at Rapareen Pediatric Teaching Hospital
