Development
Objective: in Palestine. Focus particularly on promoting inclusive policies and practices at an institutional level as well as in civil society.
The project was established with the Palestinian NGO QADER and aims to implement the program ‘MOVE’ (Mobility Opportunity Via Education – MOVE for learning and life) introduced in the Nursing Course at the University of Bethlehem and Hebron. MOVE was established to maximize the physical movement and learning capabilities of individuals as well as increasing their autonomy using minimal technology and the participation of relatives, social operators and trainers of children with severe and multiple disabilities. The program establishes clear objectives alongside parents to reach the end goal of being autonomous. Objectives are pursued through a daily practice of simple physiotherapy exercises that can be done at home with the help of parents, social operators and through initial support of a physiotherapist.
