Objective

Support the occupation of the personnel serving in the transfusion service of the Country with technical and academic professional training.

Activities

  • Technical assistance and training for health personnel in Freetown, Makeni and Bo
  • Specialist training in hematology to medical staff through the institution of the new Post Graduate School
  • Rehabilitation and supply of the new Transfusion Center at Bo Hospital for clinical practice
  • Awareness campaign and education to voluntary blood collection through trained Recruitment Officers
